Joshua QuekJoshua Quek is an AHPC-registered physiotherapist in Singapore with a clinical focus on sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He began his career in the Neurorehabilitation and Orthopaedics departments at St Luke’s Hospital, where he specialised in stroke and post-operative recovery. He now works across private practice and high-performance sporting environments, supporting individuals ranging from recreationally active patients to elite athletes. His approach emphasises evidence-informed assessment, clear communication, and structured rehabilitation tailored to each individual’s goals and needs.

Alongside clinical practice, Joshua currently serves as Head Physiotherapist for the Singapore National Taekwondo Team and previously supported both the Taekwondo and Fencing Teams during the 2025 SEA Games, contributing to a total of 9 gold, 4 silver, and 4 bronze medals. He has experience managing international athletes, including participants in the HSBC World Rugby SVNS and Olympians. His sports experience spans martial arts, badminton, rugby, and football, with involvement in international competitions, professional leagues, and pitch-side care. These experiences have shaped a pragmatic, collaborative approach to injury management, return-to-sport decision-making, and performance support.

Joshua’s clinical interests include the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and exercise-based recovery. He holds full Clinical Pilates certification, advanced (Level 3) dry needling training, and the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. He is committed to working closely with patients, coaches, and medical colleagues to support safe, sustainable return to activity, while maintaining a calm, professional, and patient-centred approach to care.
